October 24, 2011, Clarksville, Tennessee — Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TN accepted a donation from the Sango United Methodist Church (UMC), proceeds from the 2010 Scamper Road Race. Habitat for Humanity has been the beneficiary of the Sango UMC event for approximately 20 years.

“We confidently say that Sango UMC has helped lay the foundation for every home we’ve built since 1992 and we’ll be there supporting the 21st annual Sango United Methodist Church Sango Scamper Road Race,” states Jennifer Kready, Executive Director. Theresa Ellis and Joy Roberts, Sango UMC Scamper co-chairs of this event explain, “We strive to have more participants every year and we feel that having a certified course, a long event history and wonderful benefiting cause, makes the Scamper a great race to be a part of. Plus our event shirts have become very collectable.”
