Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Since 1992, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County Tennessee has partnered with 98 qualified low-income families and over 225 children to revitalize neighborhoods throughout Clarksville and Montgomery County through new home construction, and A Brush With Kindness exterior beautification projects.  Through our tithe we have partnered with 63 families in 9  different countries across the globe.

Habitat provides an opportunity for people to put their faith and love into action. We bring diverse groups of people together to make affordable housing and better communities a reality for everyone.

When we act in response to human need, giving what we have without seeking profit, we believe God magnifies the effects of our efforts. Together, the donated labor of construction volunteers, the support of partner organizations and the homeowners’ “sweat equity” make Habitat’s house building possible.

Habitat is a partnership founded on common ground— bridging theological differences by putting love into action. Everyone can use the hammer as an instrument to manifest God’s love.

Volunteers, donors and sponsors are partners in our work to eliminate poverty housing in our community. Donors and sponsors provide the funds to buy needed materials and tools. Volunteers provide labor, which helps us keep costs down — and hopes up.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County Tennessee welcomes volunteers, supporters and partner families from all backgrounds. Anyone who believes that everyone deserves a decent, affordable place to live is welcome to partner with us regardless of race, religion, age, gender or political views.

As a matter of policy, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith, or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
