Habitat for Humanity Celebrates Jimmy Carter’s 100th Birthday

This October, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County joins millions around the world in celebrating President Jimmy Carter’s 100th birthday. The 39th President has dedicated over forty years to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, helping build homes and strengthen communities globally.

To honor this milestone, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County has created a special marker featuring Carter’s image and a quote to inspire volunteers to follow his good example.

In 1982, President Carter and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter founded The Carter Center in Atlanta. Their work has since improved lives in over 80 countries by advancing human rights and alleviating suffering.

We invite you to join in the celebration by uploading a photo and a birthday message using the link below. The Carter Center will use photo submissions to create a mosaic to honor President Carter’s extraordinary life and his contributions to humanity.
