Clayco and Hankook have made an investment in affordable housing with a gift of $20,500 to Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County.

Clayco is leading the expansion of the Hankook Tire Manufacturing Facility in Clarksville and plans to provide hands on support for a future Habitat home build.

Clayco team members Shane Peacock, Nora Sieckhaus and Hankook’s Anthony Dempsey visited Habitat on Friday, February 5 to present a check for $20,500 to support Habitat building projects in 2024.

“We’re grateful for Clayo’s investment in affordable housing in Montgomery County and are greatly encouraged that they want to get more involved in our mission,” said Habitat Executive Director Rob Selkow.

Habitat for Humanity MCTN serves low-income families by partnering with them to build decent, affordable housing. Habitat, in partnership with qualifying Montgomery County families, has completed more than 100 houses since 1992, using donated funds, labor, and materials.

The Clarksville-based ministry is seeking individuals, churches, and local companies for volunteer projects related to eliminating poverty housing.
