The annual giving day known as The Big Payback is returning on Wednesday, May 5! The fun starts at 6 p.m. and continues until 6 p.m. on May 6. Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County is excited to participate and join in on the fundraising event that unites Middle Tennessee each year.
The Big Payback, hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, is a community-wide giving day which shines a spotlight on LOCAL giving and motivates Middle Tennessee to “give back” to nonprofits in a big way.
This 24-hour online giving event helps organizations – like Habitat – raise funds and bring awareness to pressing needs in our community. Donations during this time to Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County can help us build more homes with families in need in our community.
It’s clear to see the impact of The Big Payback. From 2014 through 2020, Middle Tennesseans have come together to raise nearly $21 million from a total of 147,642 donations for more than 1,000 nonprofits, schools, and religious institutions.
In 2021, we are setting our sights on reaching $5,000 raised during the giving day. This will help us provide lumber for a family’s new home. We hope you’ll join us and support Habitat families on May 5-6!
